When I was six years old in the first grade I played the Sugar Plum fairy in the Christmas play. One of the alters was named Sugar Plum and she was my fairy tale alter. She had to make up life as a wonderful tale because she could not face the truth of her own life. She was always very beneficial growing up when things got so over whelming she was there to write her own story to make it seem lovely and wonderful.
As I grew up and finally into my late forties I came to see that she could no longer benefit me because I knew I had accept reality and grow from there. She tried to hold on as long as she could however, we all must grow up and the time came for her to be integrated. She added to my life the ability to be extra creative in life and in my writings. I must admit that life is better when lived in reality.
